Exchange 2012. Design in Polish, design in Georgian

The project was a creative exchange of renowned artists from Poland and young artists from the modern Georgian art circle. Two factories located in the capital cities of the two countries were involved in the event: FSO in Warsaw and Paper Plus in Tbilisi. Using manufacturing waste and batch products, the artists designed and created the items dedicated to workers of the factories. The created items were an attempt to respond the current needs of individuals who decided to participate in the project. In the final stage of the project, the items were photographed within the space for which they had been made; that is, in flats of factories' workers. The rest of the works and the photographs were used to organize an exhibition, that was; simultaneously, the portrait of flats of Polish and Georgian middle class.
